The Workshop "Training for Managers in Ecological-Water Community Resilience" was held in the city of Monteria, Colombia, on February 1-2, 2018, organized by the UNESCO Chair on Sustainability at UPC in collaboration with the University of Córdoba, the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana Seccional Montería and the Cultural Area of the Banco de la República Sectional Montería.
The Workshop was carried out in the framework of the collaboration agreement between the University of Córdoba and the UNESCO Chair on Sustainability-Polytechnic University of Catalonia, as a first interdisciplinary course aimed at students from the Environmental Engineering, Biology and Social Sciences programs. This has allowed us to develop a reflection on the need for a critical and constructive look to face the challenges of working with communities on aspects of climate change, sustainability, circular economy, good living and biodiversity.
The event was attended by the Environmental and Health Engineering Program of the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana and the Orlando Fals Borda Documentation Center of the Cultural Area from the Banco de la República.
